Shipping is not part of the guarantee and will not be refunded. Your pants are what's guaranteed and will be refunded upon arrival back to us.

Sizing
Choose the right size. Ultra tight fitting clothing will wear sooner and pull at the seams
Wash Less
Washing machines wear out clothing, so simply said - wash less and your garments will last longer. Personally I only wash my Seed garments when I get a stain on them or have worn them a multiple of times
Wash Cold Hang Dry
When you do wash your Seed garments, choose the coldest water setting and never use the dryer. Warm (or hot) water sets stains in the fabric (plus it's harder on your fibres). So hang your garments (indoors is best as sun bleaching can occur on these dyes). Putting items in the dryer beats them up and thins your fabric (think of where all that lint came from that's in your lint tray - it's your clothes!). Bonus Tips .. Separate light and dark colours so your darker colours don't bleed into your lighter ones, and avoid overloading your machine as friction is bad for all fabrics
Natural Detergent
Avoid bleach and softeners. Bleach damages your fabrics and softeners coat your garments in a thin film that impedes the positive natural attributes of breathability, anti-static, and thermoregulation (moisture and temperature control)
Storage Travel
Your clothing likes to breathe. Natural fabric travel bags breathe. Plastic and synthetic bags do not. And folded clothes wrinkle. Hang your clothes to lessen wrinkles
Stain Guide
Treat stains immediately. Warm or hot water for 'fatty' stains only! Cold water for everything else (wine, chocolate, coffee, blood, grass, berries etc). Use gentle detergents and scrub lightly. A heavy detergent and heavy scrubbing might get the stain out, but may also affect your garment colour and fabric integrity in the process. For this reason avoid bleach or other harsh stain removers. You may need to repeat the natural stain removing steps multiple times depending on stain severity. If you're still seeing a stain we recommend to take it to your community cleaner as they specialize in stain removal while generally knowing what to use on what fabrics

I have never had a Seeds first item, so I’m not sure what makes these a second. I like how these are a bit snug around my calves; probably a size up might have been better, but these will adjust to how I wear them and how I move, so I’m happy to just pull them on in the morning and go about my day. And the cat likes them.
The M are slightly large for me (140lbs, 5’4). Very comfortable and roomy. Today I rolled up the bottoms and liked the look. Not sure what makes these a ‘second’ as I haven’t seen a flaw although the waist band is different than the small that I bought. I prefer the style on the small. Plus I prefer the fit of the small as I like a more ‘slender look’. I definitely love these new pants. Both the small and the medium!

My blue, size Large Antidote pants are top quality even as Seconds! I roll up the legs to make cuffs. I wear them for my QiGong and Yin yoga morning practice. The hemp/cotton blend is so much more energetically grounding than wearing nylon-blend leggings. The waist never rolls down like leggings! I have 2 more now in Medium (raspberry and green)for everyday use. I look forward to wearing them over the summer months at my retreats. My son thinks they suit me. Thanks SEED! xo
I was hesitant to purchase these because of the upfront cost, and I still agree that they are expensive, but I cannot say I don’t love them. They are so so comfy! I love the colour. I love the drop crotch design. Deep pockets. Everything about them is great!

I bought off the rack Burgandy color pant and a mustard color. I loved them so much. The fit was comfortable and I loved the style. So I bought a blue pair and a raspberry pair. Loved them so I needed a black pair. Now I have 5 pairs and love the comfy fit. They wash up nice….. no dryer just hang dry. I’m 5’3” 136 lbs Size M

As you can tell by the stack of Seed pants in my closet, I LOVE these pants!! I have two pairs of medium for relaxing and travelling, and four pairs (how did THAT happen?!! 🤫) that I wear for work and other life. I am very fussy about the feel of my clothes, and my skin loves these. They are comfortable, dress up and down-able, fun colours, and ethical. What’s not to love?! Customer service is also amazing! I ordered a pair that got stuck in the mail, and they sent me a replacement pair via courier. These are my everyday pant. This is my second pair. I tell anyone who has an active lifestyle that they should have a pair. Whether I am hiking, skating, climbing, playing with my kids, or running errands they meet the need.

Seams came apart after climbing 2 days. Fit me pretty loose. They're comfortable and the pocket design is great, just poorly made.
I think my fat stack of seed pants says all you need to know about these wonderful pants. Buy them, buy them again, and then buy 3 more.
The fabric is lovely and they fit nicely from the thighs down, but there is way too much fabric on the waist and the front poofy area looks like a marsupial pouch.
Wearing them improperly and pulled down way past my hips, and with out a cuff the length comes up to my mid calf. They not wearable.
Super nice, I went up a size and that was good for me as I like a looser fit on lower leg! I recommend.

Bought a pair of pre-loved (used) blue in xs (I’m 5’4” and 128 lbs, for those not sure what size to buy. They’re a little tight around the waist, but I wear pants on my hips. I also cut the elastic and sewed them back together because I hate it when pants squeeze my hips, women’s pants should be made with looser elastic!) on Valentine’s Day, because I’m the love of my life and I really wanted them. They took a while to arrive (they were shipped right away, so not Seed’s fault, they just got lost or something), but as soon as they did I put them in the wash and wore them as soon as they were dry. They’re very comfortable! My only qualm is the poofy crotch area. I don’t know what to do with that. Regardless, I’ve already purchased 2 more pairs, this time brand new. I’m very excited! Someday, I hope to have 10 pairs. It WILL happen, it will just take some time.
Crotch front is too baggy for me… I’ll get my tailor to take it in some…

Love this color!! The fit is great (downsized to a small but I am usually a medium). They are comfortable, the crotch is quite baggy though so I did not give a 5 star. I have only worn once so I am not sure how they hold up to wear and washing.

Love the pants. That said, I’m an older active female with medium sized legs and tush but would be more comfortable with some more give in the waist. I’d love to order a second pair and think the large would be better for the middle but otherwise too big. Have you ever considered a waist band with a draw string for more flexibility?

These pants are so rad, I fell in love instantly. They're very comfortable, both stretchy and breathable. Stylish and unique. If mustard was currently available I would have grabbed my second pair already!
I bought my first pair a few years ago and, though they are still going strong, this was a good opportunity to get a second pair in a different (and brighter!) color. They look and fit great, last well, are super-comfortable and are the epitome of Buy Canadian for me. I can’t tell where or why they are seconds (so don’t burst my bubble).
