Care Instructions
To keep your Seed garments lasting for years:
Sizing
Choose the right size. Ultra tight fitting clothing will wear sooner and pull at the seams
Wash Less
Washing machines wear out clothing, so simply said - wash less and your garments will last longer. Personally I only wash my Seed garments when I get a stain on them or have worn them a multiple of times
Wash Cold Hang Dry
When you do wash your Seed garments, choose the coldest water setting and never use the dryer. Warm (or hot) water sets stains in the fabric (plus it's harder on your fibres). So hang your garments (indoors is best as sun bleaching can occur on these dyes). Putting items in the dryer beats them up and thins your fabric (think of where all that lint came from that's in your lint tray - it's your clothes!). Bonus Tips .. Separate light and dark colours so your darker colours don't bleed into your lighter ones, and avoid overloading your machine as friction is bad for all fabrics
Natural Detergent
Avoid bleach and softeners. Bleach damages your fabrics and softeners coat your garments in a thin film that impedes the positive natural attributes of breathability, anti-static, and thermoregulation (moisture and temperature control)
Storage Travel
Your clothing likes to breathe. Natural fabric travel bags breathe. Plastic and synthetic bags do not. And folded clothes wrinkle. Hang your clothes to lessen wrinkles
Stain Guide
Treat stains immediately. Warm or hot water for 'fatty' stains only! Cold water for everything else (wine, chocolate, coffee, blood, grass, berries etc). Use gentle detergents and scrub lightly. A heavy detergent and heavy scrubbing might get the stain out, but may also affect your garment colour and fabric integrity in the process. For this reason avoid bleach or other harsh stain removers. You may need to repeat the natural stain removing steps multiple times depending on stain severity. If you're still seeing a stain we recommend to take it to your community cleaner as they specialize in stain removal while generally knowing what to use on what fabrics
I love the chai colour and the pants are awesome. So comfortable, lightweight and easy to move in. Sizing is important. First pair was too big but I sized down for the chai and they are for sure my go to pants now.
I’ve worn these pants while propagating fruit trees, working in the garden, hauling soil, feeding chickens, collecting eggs, cleaning coops, and doing just about every other job that comes with having a little homestead—and somehow they work for all of it.
They’re comfortable enough that I forget I’m wearing “work pants,” but practical enough that I can actually work in them. I can squat, kneel, climb, carry, get dirty, and keep moving without constantly adjusting my clothes or wishing I had changed first.
And I love that they’re made from organic hemp and cotton, because if I’m going to spend half my life outside growing things and raising animals, wearing something made from natural fibers just makes sense.
These have very quickly become my grab-them-first pants for anything happening outside.
My only complaint is that now I want them in every color.
I’m an overly active mess of a human and clothes never last with me. Between construction, mechanics, fabrication, rock climbing, painting and off-grid living, i put every article of clothing and accessories through a gauntlet of challenges. So far seed pants have withstood the abuse as well as been a comfortable wear during said activities. They have become my go to pants for all around comfort and style. I love them to the moon and back. On top of all of that, I feel good supporting local and giving myself the love and care that I deserve. Blessed.
Been wanting a pair for a while and am not disappointed! Fabric is light and breathable. Fit is nice. I'm a bigger dude...6'1, 220 and XL is great. Wore them on a fishing trip while relaxing after a day on the lake and my whole fam wants them now too. Great pants and will buy more...as I'm able to afford them! Happy to support a Canadian company.
After wearing them for a couple weeks, I must say, they are holding up very well. Rock climbing, off roading, auto mechanics, yoga, hiking and now I’m in the Nevada desert building burning man. Super comfortable, breathable and resilient. I love these pants.

Here’s a quick video I taped for you yesterday. My inaugural SEED pant wearing day.
Best to y’all

Love these pants!!! They fit great and feel amazing. I'm 5'10 155lbs and bought a large. I'm smiling at my children and grandchildren visiting... barefoot in my backyard!
Amazing! I’m at the age comfort clothing is my main goal. To manage this and not look like I’m in my pajamas was an effort. Can’t wait for the overalls! #canadian
I purchased this pair of Seed pants for my husband as part of our Sailing Business uniforms. He finds them cool, casual and comfortable. I will be getting a pair for myself, like Chai or if you plan on a flax or light tan version that would be great. Our linen shirts and T's are light oatmeal colour with a turquise/pale blue logo.
I have had a pair of Seed Overalls for years...and I am looking forward to unpacking them soon! We moved this late winter and some clothes are not yet unpacked. Thanks Blake and the Seed Team. We love your vlaues and mission. the quality and creativity with the clothing, the materials all the way down to the tag/bookmark and seed intention bracelet! And thank you team for your excellent communication. We love you all.
I really wasn’t sure how I liked these pants when they first arrived, especially the droopy crotch 😩 my niece thought I was pregnant wearing them, asking me the next morning where my belly went 😂
I’ve worn them on two hikes so far and they are comfortable and durable, there’s also just a lot of extra fabric in the entire crotch region. I imagine that would be great for climbing, bouldering and more extreme sports, but for this everyday hiker girl, I don’t really need or enjoy all that extra fabric in front. Maybe it’ll grow on me, who knows.
Love these so much, will definitely be ordering another pair. I found the comments about size on here helpful so here’s mine: ordered L size from measurements. But looked on here to be confident in the fit. I’m a 70kg, 170 cm woman. My legs are on the shorter side so they are a bit longer on my legs but they sit up easily on me. I’ve had trouble finding pants that are both comfortable and I like the look of for various occasions. These have remedied that! If you’re on the fence I recommend to give them a try as you may just love them.
I love these pants and wear them all the time! They’re incredibly comfortable and have become a staple in my wardrobe. At first, they felt a little snug around the lower leg, but after a few wears they relaxed and now fit perfectly.
I was initially unsure about sizing because my wardrobe has such a mix of sizes, so it was difficult to know which one to choose. I was also a bit disappointed that the fabric contains 4% spandex, especially since I had to look online to find that information. That said, I understand how challenging it is these days to make clothing with little to no synthetic materials.
Overall, I really love the pants, though I do wonder if the brand might consider offering a more standardized fit or styles with a slightly more feminine silhouette in the future. I’ve also had a few comments from people saying the front fit/cut can look a bit unflattering or oddly shaped depending on how the fabric sits, so that may be an area worth refining in future designs.
These are officially my favorite pants ever! They can go on all my adventures with me, whether it’s hiking, horseback riding, gardening, yoga or whatever strikes my fancy. Full range of movement and breathable soft fabric, I’m in love!
A most epic pair of bottoms! My second pair and i rotate betwixt the two on the regular. Climbing, kicking it, pre, intra or post yoga. It fits most situations, if it doesn't i might wanna be elsewhere 😜
It’s always a good experience ordering from SEED CO. It’s super easy to order and product always arrives in a timely fashion. The curated packaging is simple and eco friendly; you can feel the love that goes into it. 🫶
First thing I did was go walk in nature along the river and do some deep squats. I’ve been loving wearing them so comfortable and we’ll definitely be sharing with my friends.🤘🏼🌊
Absolutely love my 1st pair of seed pants Shipping was so fast customer support answered all my questions on sizing Already ordered my 2nd pair So comfy and a ethical company Thank you
Purchased my second pair in a month! Absolutely love these pants. I have the black colour too. I am hooked. So comfortable. Great quality. I love the style and fit. Love that these are made in Canada. That alone was a huge deciding factor for me to support locally made clothes.
For size reference - I am 60 years old, 5’7” and weigh 135lbs. I am wearing size small. You will not regret purchasing these pants.
I'm slowly downsizing my closet and getting rid of polyester and other synthetic crap! Love that these are made in Canada , and hemp is such an awesome fiber!
Having less clothes with the quality over quantity mentality...fash fashion may be cheap, but at what true cost? Got the raspberry and then the burgundy (on the 33% off sale)
The harem style looked weird to me at first, but I realized how conditioned we are to clothing and shoes that do not work with our anatomy...I wear barefoot shoes, and people think the wider toe box looks weird at first too..but what's weirder is having your feet re-shaped by restrictive binding.
These pants are addictive, will add more colours in the future 😊
Love these, they’re my second pair. I wear them alot for hiking and walking outside, very comfortable and durable. They get softer the longer you wear them, but remain hearty.
I’m 5’2 and around 170lbs, the XL was too big so I exchanged for a large and it fits perfectly. Exchange was easy and smooth as well, great customer service <3
I love the pants, but they are fairly big on me. I don’t mind them being larger, but I did order a size medium and hopefully they will fit better. Thai fisherman pants are my favorite thing to wear on my lower half, and these have fulfilled my love for the drop crotch design. I did pop the seam in the crotch the second time I wore them, but was able to salvage the seam with a needle and some thread. I am 5’8” and about 150 pounds am fairly lean (with a little extra fluff here and there). I wish there were a measurement from waistline to crotch. Since these were a little big, I can’t rest my hands in my pockets at all, I have to lean over when putting something in/taking something out of them. Overall, I’m happy and will buy more. The quality is great and I like the fabric. I hope they will stand the test of time
Wanted to love. Material piling, first time worn after washing. Sewing inconsistent.
Material more for warmer weather, so will wear more in the summer.
I like the shade of blue.
Store owner replied:
Hi Shelley, thanks for your review! And we appreciate you sharing your experience. Can you tell me more about what specifically caused the pilling? Because we've sewn and sold 33,000 pairs now and never had a person experience this in 12 years. Looking forward to helping you!
Amazing pants. I tried them on and ordered another pair within minutes. I’m 5’6. These are XS and fit great!
These pants are great! Great quality, high-vibrational fabric that provides extreme comfort in all activities. Whether I am meditating, hiking, performing, or practicing martial arts, my seed pants are the perfect “antidote” my body needs to do it all in style and confidence! Their unique design also garnishes lots of compliments on a daily basis, proving they are not only functional but fashionable as well! I highly recommend them!
I AM IN LOVE! They stretch, they breathe, and they’re super durable! I bought them because I read reviews that said they might be the last pair of pants I ever buy.. After having them for just a day. I tend to agree.! These are size SMALL!
I’m a professional puppeteer, which is a job that requires a lot of crouching, lying, bending into odd shapes, fitting in small places— a lot of movement, in short. I need flexible clothes, but also don’t want to look schlubby at work.
I bought my first pair of the Antidote in Mustard in 2023 after seeing them in Black on another puppeteer. Calling them ideal is an understatement! So comfortable and easy to move in. Big useful pockets. The hemp fabric looks a little sharper than the average activewear. I get compliments on them all the time. Gender-neutral!! I wear them all the time, to work, to the gym, to casual outings. I roll up the bottoms to capri length if I’m warm. I almost cried the time I got blue pen ink on them, but the stains came out with rubbing alcohol and the colour of the pants didn’t seem to suffer at all!
If the price has you hesitant, wait for the very-rare sale; but also know that well-made clothing SHOULD cost more, and these are absolutely a worthwhile investment. 2.5 years of heavy wear later, my Mustard Antidote pants are still in great shape.
My work friend who I got hooked on Seed let me know about the current sale, so now I have a second pair in Green! Love the colour, already know I’ll get a ton of wear out of these.
I was prepared to be disappointed with my pants, since the adverts show young people climbing rocks, etc, and I'm 75. But here I am.... in love with my pants!!! They fit me perfectly, are super comfy, great colour. Now I'm scheming to get another pair so I can wash these ones😄
Really stoked on these cool fit flexible comfortable and natural ingredients I took black since they go good with all colours in case I wanna wear them few days in a row 🤣
